1. I would like to order vinyls (or cd’s / merchandise) from your website. How does it work, is there anything that I have to consider?
First you have to register on our website and create an account. You will need to fill in all the necessary details including a password. that you need for logging in after successful registration. In addition we need some valid personal information, especially a valid mail-address. You can complete the registration by clicking on the "Create an Account" button...
2. Problems with the registration. Can you please help?
Simply send a mail to info@hardcoredistortion.co.uk and explain the problem.
3. I forgot my password.
No Problem. Click on the link Password forgotten? Click here.“ (See on the right) and enter your E-mail Address. A new password will be sent to your mail address.
4. How does the order process work? Anything that I have to consider? How can I pay?
First you have to login with your login data (Username / Password). Enter your login data on the right ("Login") and confirm with "OK".Now you are logged in and you can brose all products in the shop, once you find an item you want to buy you can click on the item and then click the link just under the item description to "add to your cart". Alternatively you can click the buy now! button and the item will atomically be sent to your cart
When you have chosen all the items you wish to buy, you can get an overview by clicking on the "Cart" field on the right. You can now change your quantities or completely delete items that you no longer want. If everything is correct, you can click on "Checkout".
You can choose a delivery address (if entered in your profile), where the package can be delivered. If you wish for the packet to be sent to another address to the one on your account you can simply add your new shipping address by clicking "Change Address". Then choose a Shipping Method which suits you... then click "Continue".
Now you can choose your preferred payment method (Bank Transfer, Paypal or Personal Cheque or Postal Orders) and submit your order with the button "Continue".
5. How can I pay? Can I pay with my Credit Card?
If you have chosen to pay via bank transfer, then simply transfer the total amount including shipping rate to our bank account. The bank details are listed on our website, the bank transfer has to be completed within 2 weeks. Please make sure that your bank doesnt charge us a fee for the transaction
If you have chosen to pay with Paypal (Paypal is the only credit card payment that we accept at the moment), then you can either pay just after you confirm your order. Or send us the amount manually to our Paypal account (all details can be found on out website). However if you do send payment directly to our Paypal account please leave us a note stating your user name/e-mail address and which items you are paying for.
If you have chosen to send a cheque, postal orders or money orders then simply sent the cheque to the address on our website, you will also receive our address in your confirmation e-mail, again please write/print us a note stating your user name/e-mail address and which items you are paying for... ALL Cheques, Money Orders, Postal Orders MUST be made out in UK Pounds Sterling...
6. I have placed my order. Now Im waiting for your reaction. How long will it take?
After submitting your order, an automatic mail (your order confirmation) will be generated. There you can find further information like our bank details including IBAN and Swift Code. Normally you should receive the confirmation mail within a few minutes. If you dont receive it even after 60 minutes, then please check the spam-folder of your mail-account. If you dont receive the mail at all or if there are errors in it (some mail providers dont transfer the complete mail, so you only see the first ordered items), then please send us a mail to info@hardcoredistortion.co.uk (dont forget to mention your username/e-mail address). We will help you out then!
7. I have placed my order. When can I expect the delivery?
Orders paid with "Bank Transfer" will be sent out when receiving the payment (same day or one day after). International bank transfers usually need between 3-6 working days until we receive them (depending on your bank).
Orders paid with Paypal will be sent out the same day or the day after (depending on the payment time). You will receive a shipping confirmation including package number (only for packages shipped with insured track and trace service) when your package has left our warehouse.
If you made payment by Money Orders or Postal Orders your package will be sent out (same day or one day after).
Orders paid for by personal cheque will be sent out once the cheque has cleared in out bank account ... (usually 3 to 4 days).
8. I have deleted my order confirmation. Now I dont know anymore what I have ordered
You can check all ordered items again in your login area. Simply login and click on "My Account" on the right. There you can see all unpaid orders. If anything is wrong there (for example when you find an order that you already received or if theres an order which has been paid a long time ago already), then please send us a mail to info@hardcoredistortion.co.uk Dont forget to mention your username and please consider that international bank transfers can take 3-7 working days (depending on your bank and country).
9. Are all listed records really in stock?
All items you can see in the shop are available in our warehouse. Its technically not possible to order a record which is out of stock.
Only if another customer has already put the last remaining item into his basket, but has not completed his order yet, then its possible that an item is marked as "in stock", but cannot be found in the warehouse then.
10. Suddenly my ordered records are listed as "out of stock". Now Im afraid that my records are gone
Dont worry - if you have completed your order and received your order confirmation, then the ordered records are reserved for you. It happens pretty often that someone has ordered the last remaining item in the shop, so those items are listed as "out of stock" AFTER your order. Furthermore we have another warehouse and do not have our complete stock amount online, so sometimes you just have to wait another day (our site is updated various times every day) and then you will see the item back in stock again.
11. Is it not possible to listen to the tracks?
At the moment we do not have sound clips on our website we are working on it and should have sound for all the tracks up on the site early next year.
12. Can I add items to an order I have already placed?
As we despatch orders very quickly, unfortunately it is not possible to add to an existing order. If you require further items, you must place a new order via the shopping cart.
